Sitting on the cliff above

Looking out to sea.

A young man with no name

Wondered just what he might be!

He grew up on the island

Surrounded by the sea.

He did not even know his name

Or if he had a family.

He sat in meditation

When something caught his eyes.

Out in the bay a pirate ship

With a skull head flying high.

He heard the pirates singing

While pulling down the mask.

He sat intrigued about this sight

Just thought about their task.

The adventures of a pirate!

Now he knew what he must be.

To capture all the gold on earth

And sail the seven seas!

From the cliff above,

Where he seldom left.

The boy with no name

Set out on a special quest.

He waited till the darkness came

Then swam out all alone.

Heading for the pirates ship

As if it was his own.

He climbed her in the darkness

Moving very slow.

He knew exactly what to do

And sailed straight from the cove.

New he was the captain

And fired the guns at shore.

At the pirates on the beach

Marooned forever more.

Now in the open sea

What was he to do?

First he had to sail to port

And find himself a crew.

They had to be all nasty

Not afraid and very strong.

Fight to the death and get all drunk

And sing every pirates song!

The meanest bunch of scoundrels

That ever sailed the sea.

There was just one thing missing,

His name what shall it be?

He called himself Captain Know

For reasons we will see.

He wanted everyone to know

This pirate on the sea!

He plundered and his pillaged

Every ship that he was see.

He would have a reputation

As mean as one could be!

Just like all the pirates

And every story ends.

Captain know just disappeared

Was never seen again.

The legend grew and grew

Until this very day.

About the boy with no name

The most feared pirate they would say.

All would tremble in great fear

Where ever he would go.

This is why he picked that name

So everyone would Know!
