Boogie-woogie Santa
I woke this morning and I ran down stairs
To see what Santa left me!
When I got there the Christmas tree was bare
And there was nothing to see!
I went to window hung my head and cried
And thought how could this be?
Then I saw Santa flying through the sky
He was coming towards me!
I rushed outside to my surprise
He landed there in the snow
He did the boogie-woogie right out of his sleigh
He is the coolest cat I know!
He did the boogie-woogie right into the house
As he danced around the tree.
He said, My son this is my final run,
So won’t you listen to me!”
“You better be good like you know you should.”
As he danced around the floor.
He did the boogie-woogie around the tree
Then he was out the door.
He did the boogie-woogie right to his sleigh
As he cracked his whip.
As he pulled away, I’ll remember that day
Cause that Santa Claus was hip!
