Shiba Inu~by rldubour

Shiba Inu

The word Shiba means both brushwood and small,

The word Inu, means dog we will call.

An ancientAsiabreed probably from the Chow Chow.

Brought toJapanfromChinaand in theU.S.right now.

The Sibas are alert, active and bold

Confident, fearless and courageous I’m told.

A big dog in a small dog’s body

Charming and open, definitely not shoddy.

Just a quick background as you will soon see.

What I am talking about, when I mention Chella and Yoshi.

They are brother and sister and live with my son.

The brother is smart, the sister is dumb.

Yoshi is cute with his bushy curled tail.

With a look of pure confidence you can tell he’s a male.

And then there is Chella, what can I say?

She barks when you get there and until you go away.

Don’t get me wrong she is really ok.

And she is very cute in her own special way.

It’s just that I am partial to Yoshi you see.

He is more relaxed not as hyper as she.

It’s fun to just watch them run through the yard.

Always alert, always on guard.

When the day is near ending and it’s time for a nap.

The want to be with you and sleep on your lap.

These siblings of canine, this girl and this boy.

Are part of the family you become to enjoy.

They are right by your side; they are your best friends.

They will always adore you, right up to the end.
