ALL OUR GUILTY STAINS
To go to church I dress up
As well as best as I can,
But once in a while a brand new shirt
Will wear something unplanned.
-
Folks always are happy to see me,
They don’t seem to see shirt stains….
It is no heist to put on Christ
And know that Lord Christ reigns.
–
An older hymn most precious
With echoed glad refrains….
Says when we plunge beneath that Flood
We lose all guilty stains.
-
The Blood of Christ was shed for thee,
His blood paid for your soul…
Until you believe in His God
You ‘ll never be seen as whole.
