There’s something about Easter Lilies that smell so nice in the store,
You take them home, they open up and don’t smell anymore…
Hybridizing flowers to last and last and last
Along the way some flowers may have certain scents outcast,
Pretty to look at—but won’t infuse through a room anymore.
