DON’T WE READ ANYMORE?

A family “feeding the ducks”,

Mostly geese, with bread crumbs for yucks,

      Ignoring the fence

      And signs’ contents,

For the love of misfeeding our ducks.

–

Didn’t seem to understand

At first, it was private land….

      They went with the whim

      To just walk on in,

Heedless of any legal reprimand.

–

The ducks and geese will be fine

With grasses their gullets to line…

        Families won’t “respectee”

        What they won’t read correctly,

The wildlife is safe…for a time!
