DEFENSE MECHANISM
He stumbled while talking to her,
His words were liable to slur…
Not that he was drunk,
But in her eyes had shrunk
So left the place in a blur.
-
But secretly he was relieved,
He had not tried to deceive…
He was making sure
His intentions were pure,
Avoiding being self-deceived.
-
He knew his weakness for women,
‘Specially those with the right trimmings…
Remaining a clutz
Enforces the trust
He has in his own misgivings!
