“THE MARINE MIRACLE”

 

Was she being satirical,

Insisting I read “The Marine Miracle”…

But she didn’t read

The smaller print indeed,

It wasn’t concerning sea creatures lyrical.

-

With seaweed pictured on the cover,

Did that mis-lead my helpful lover…

Did she think she took

An undersea book,

If she’d read more she would have discovered.

-

Or maybe it truly was knowledge,

She wished me to learn like in college…

Anti-aging to score

And love her some more,

Was more vim what she would acknowledge?
