Cutting down exhausted stacks

Made of stainless steel…

Careful disassembly,

A recycling machine’s meal.

Washing down the sections cut

In lengths of four feet…

Chemicals must be removed

And stacked in piles neat.

Roofing will have holes repaired

Cov’ring office space…

A conference room will be big enough

To give every chair a place.

Exhausting work will be over

When ventilators are hoisted down…

Perhaps buyers are waiting

In another side of town.
