Time to get on with normal life this is what I say.
Time to laugh and sing again as I go on my way.
A new season now upon us
nice weather now in store.
I am thankful for what I have
and do not ask for more.
The budding trees, the greening grass
fruit trees as they blossom.
The nightly critters on the prowl
raccoons, skunks and opossum.
I recommend don’t go too far
in my back yard at night.
Never know what lurks out there
way beyond the light.
Nice weather brings the outside work
trimming here and there.
Raking leaves and planting seeds
work is everywhere.
Sometimes it’s overwhelming
starting I must choose.
This is why she writes me notes
my list of honey do’s….
