Lesson learned

 

Often times in life… we make
a bad decision.
That’s when we need a crystal ball
So we could all envision.

Our hearts are trusting all the time
and sometimes will bring tears.
We should learn to use our minds
And weigh our hopes and fears.

I am not saying to be hard,
only saying to watch our guard.
The gamble here is in the cards,
Beware…before we feel the scars.

Loneliness can spawn false ideas,
make us yearn for someone near.
This is what our heart is thinking
and eventually brings tears.

Often times love is confused
with infatuation.
That’s when we get that broken heart
plus an education.

Then we’re lost and feel betrayed
and feel the hurt inside.
Keep in mind we are not alone
true friends are by our side.
