BLESSING OVER…NOT OVERBLESSING
The Lord God has surely blessed me
Permitting corrections to see…
Although many hurt,
His spiritual quirt
Continues to help me “kill me.”
By “killing,” I mean self to die
With all of my needing to cry
Out for my own way,
Readying for the Day
When Christ alone will be my guide!
“My” sparrow has come to seek bread,
The LORD doth feed, Scripture said,
If it wasn’t for me…
But can I see
How easily sparrows are fed?
A portion to each is due
But too much at once won’t do…
For management guide
We must look inside
Not ourselves but in the Word true.
