Everyone has a favorite place where they can go and meditate.
Of everything in this life, what they love or what they hate.
Of what they want and things they need.
Of precious moments or their pet peeves.
Of simple things to pure complex
As they scan their thoughts like a book index.
As A to Z runs through their mind.
As if some special thought they try and find.
They check their past as if keeping score.
Not satisfied most still want more.
That favorite place you can run and hide.
With just your shadow right by your side.
A place to go and feel all safe
Everyone should have that favorite place.
Where all tomorrows are dancing in one’s head
Where all your sorrows can be put to bed.
A favorite place where one can go and dream of anything
A favorite place that just you know where you’re the queen or king.
