THOUGHTS ABOUT FALL WEATHER

Autumn weather’s breaking records

Of heat before it snows,

Those bathing suits in October

Will be gone before anyone knows;

Some wish for colder weather

So the leaves will turn out bright

And bring in lots of tourists

To fund cold winter nights;

Our evening star is Jupiter

Shining brighter every day,

Next to the full Harvest Moon

To light the homeward way;

Our work is often done inside,

From windows we will view

This lovely day of Autumn sun

Until our work is through.
