Brown rice and kielbasa, such a great meal,

Just chunk kielbasa bite-sizeed…

Toss in whole-kernel corn for added appeal

And boil in a skillet till done.

My wife called it “fine” as she gave me the rest

For my supper  cuisine at work,

There’s lots left over, that I can attest…

It’s great stuff that I cannot shirk.

I’ll have it for supper and breakfast I think,

It’ll go good with milk I suppose…

But sooner or later all of it I will eat

And then this culinary chapter will close

(For a while, anyway!).
