By J. Caswell

My wife chased until I caught

Her and we married as we  ought…

Covenanted with her

And God as It were,

To enter a life well-fought.

Then temptation raised its head

With memories of relationships dead…

When things don’t go “right”

Gets easier for flight,

Away from the things learned to dread.

In such times it’s easy to give

Into feelings that may live…

Your life-love will hurt

When under pressure you spurt

Away through a broken heart sieve.

One look may turn into prey

The men who just once turn away…

Social media turn

Into chances to burn,

With the rest of your relationship to pay.

Tempted—of course we may be—

Whether far or near you ‘gotta’  flee

Hurting those who love us

Let’s stay on the bus,

Let God shape your marriage a “T”.
