“POWER ASSIST”
By Jonathan Caswell
Since we’ve had power assist
There’s one thing that we have missed…
The need to plunge
All of that grunge
As a weekly scheduled tryst.
The noise at six A.M.
I’ll never get used to then,
It sounds rather loud…
I’m convinced a crowd
Awakens all over again!
“KA-WUSH-KA”, the word I use,
To warn the cat during his snooze
That a flush will occur,
Sometimes he’s a blur
As the noise sets off his short fuse.
good one!
