FOR “WHITIN YOUR SMILE”:
It is such a familiar feel
With unique sensory appeal…
To have the teeth cleaned
And then ’hygiened’,
For squeaky-clean teeth you can feel!
Eleven years have passed
Since I saw a hygienist last….
The familiar thrill
From that water drill
And the way my glasses get splashed.
The hygienist praised my positioning
My head by her requisitioning…
Only a few times it hurt
As I soaked my shirt,
Getting rid of the “fleh” from commissioning.
Hygienists kind and efficient
Like Debbie, are more than sufficient
To elicit praise
From clients these days,
As highly valued clinician(t)s.
I’ll gladly go back again
In six months or so, when,
We’ll gather once more
With cleaning in store…
Won’t wait eleven years again!
