A WORKER’S THOUGHTS

A WORKER’S THOUGHTS

(AUTHOR’S NOTE:  A composite of several situations, including my own past.)

Not knowing what the future holds.

I know that my livelihood folds

Later this spring…

Haven’t found anything

To hold ‘til the bad luck reloads.

They say we will have a job fair,

Does the world outside really care…

We had our cocoon

Must transplant/re-bloom,

It’s rough but we were made aware.

Can we know ahead of time who

Has answered invitations to do…

Can we find who may be

There with interest in me,

In whom we might be interested, too?
