I’m back on my old Sunday shift

One day, at least, in another’s drift…

Vacation time taken

While I earn extra bacon

To pay off some bills with thrift.

While he cavorts in South Carolina,

His hours are covered just “fine-ah”…

Two week’s overtime

Shared among us is fine,

While our buddy eats off the good china.
