BEHOLD HOW PLEASANT IS…?

BEHOLD HOW GOOD AND PLEASANT IT IS…!

(Inspired by the Psalms)

Behold how good and pleasant it is

For Brothers to dwell to gether,

In the unity of the Spirit dwells…

A shield against life’s rough weather.

The Lord is a Rock in the wilderness

Who gives live-giving waters,

He is our Rock, Lord Jesus Christ….

Whose love never wanes or falters.

We go through life, its mystery

We take day by day,

For those who submit to leading

God guides us all His way.

The Lord’s words are life to the soul

To open eyes up wide,

To see the things of life precious…

And in God’s strength abide.

We put ourselves at the mercy of men

To serve God all the way,

He will not cause His folk to fail

But keep them ’til His final Day.

My Lord has promised good to me,

His Word my hope most sure…

In faith I take it as the truth

And trust that faith endures.

—Jonathan Caswell,

in His Spirit.
