POPCORN PREDICAMENT

Eating popcorn can be messy,

Just ask the guys at work….

They make me use a dustpan,

Stepping on kernels hurts.

–

The vacuum cleaners treat them

Like staples, tacks and things,

When they build up in the hose…

That baby really sings!

–

The crumbs they fall like raindrops

In a circle ’round my feet…

It isn’t hard to figure out

What I decided to eat.

–

At home I must be careful

Because my feet are often bare…

I cannot feel when I step on one

Nor know when my skin has a tear.

–

I’m getting better cleaning up after

Myself and my popcorn snack…

The whisk broom and a dust pan gather

What used to be my track.
