When younger, boys have baby dolls,

But older, GI-JOE* then enthralls…

      One time friends weren’t there,

      Went with his sister downstairs:

My Joe with her BARBIE** dolls.

Innocent of our later years,

Our dolls played “house” with no fears…

      She kept JOE’s shorts on

      And we did no wrong,

It was nice his sister shed no tears.
