SIMPLE PLEASURES


SIMPLE PLEASURES

 

The Lord’s Majesty on high,

His glory seen on clouds…

Golden and grey against the sky

Visible to large crowds!

–

Through cinder block walls

Birds twitter at night…

Trying to sleep

In parking lot light.

–

We find the taste of coffee

Like that of the ice cream,

When cooled down such

We like it much…
