Passing by with an eye full of hunger…

For things to improve

In ways to soothe

His struggle which he was under.

The older one took him aside,

Comforting him as he cried…

Life is rough

You have to be tough,

There’s value in how you have tried.

There are folks who appreciate

The things done by you and your mate…

Life will be hard

But what you did to this yard

Is something that has turned out great!

–

There always will be a list

Of things that you have missed…

But take the time

To remember that I’m

One of many that you have blessed!
