MIS-COMMUNICATED SIGNALS

MIS-COMMUNICATED SIGNALS

A soft voice says, “hello?”

As cell phone conversations may go…

Those auto-start beeps

Confuse me heaps,

As if it were done just for show.

The cell caller detected will smile…

I’ll leave them alone a while,

One honking “at me”

By occupants I can’t see,

Realizing there’s no need to be riled.

    • Thank you…I wrote it, I found it again in drafts, but I’m not sure I understand it—explain it to me??? I think I got confused between cell phone calls and car alarms!?!

  2. Reblogged this on By the Mighty Mumford and commented:

AM I TALKING ABOUT CELL PHONES—OR CAR ALARMS???? I AM CONFUSED!!!

  3. You know communication over telephones is quite interesting. I have accidentally upset a friend by my texts, they were not clear. It was funny, later, when I told her what I meant to say was…. Smiles, Robin

    • Don’t have a cell phone and the nearest thing to texting I do is: ORT-ORT-ORT!!!…when my fingers don’t slip! 🙂
