My God, My Country
Four score and twenty years our fore fathers brought forth to this continent.
As these words that were spoken I think this is what they meant.
Oh, sweet land of liberty.
There is freedom here for me.
Freedom, to do what I may do and do what I may say.
Freedom, is my country, freedom is my everyday.
My God, to You I pray.
That I shall always have my freedom the same in every way.
This is my land, this is my home.
This is my country where I’m free to roam.
We the people of these United States.
These words are open for debate.
For how can we all be one?
When we can’t undo the wrong that’s done.
Life itself is far to short so open your hearts and give.
Life for us all will someday end, so cherish these days you live.
Can we learn to live by the rules that we do teach?
Oh God, where is the answer is it just beyond our reach?
My eyes have seen the burning and the crumpling of many swords.
But have not yet seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.
The truth is that we are blind.
For are we not just mankind?
Treat every human being with kindness and respect.
And when it’s time God will say, “You have passed life’s test.

If we followed the laws of the land. The basic rules. Government and business/religion is separated. Freedom is protected. Not stole without a fight. Great President warned us of these days. I pray for a new direction or we are in deep trouble. A outstanding blog.
