Chocolates And The Fat Lady~by rldubour

Chocolates And The Fat Lady

First I must apologize to who ever I offend.
But this excessive eating really has to end.
She eats all day can’t fill her up what an appetite.
Just so she can have her chocolates each and every night.
There is no room for no one else when she is on the couch.
She will not move until her chocolates are completely out!
She tries to walk but her knees won’t hold that enormous weight.
God forbid she runs out of chocolates that’s a big mistake.
She will start on chocolate ice cream and two whole chocolate cakes!
She really loves her chocolate she just wants more and more.
Don’t matter if she can’t walk she can’t fit out the door!
I shudder at the thought if she should pass one night.
Just how we going to get her out? Won’t be a pretty sight.
She’ll have her box of chocolates held tightly in her arms.
We’ll have to go and rent a crane from the local farm.
And put her in a harness and break a big hole in the top.
Just have the crane pull her out and pray that she wont drop!
She wont fit in an ambulance we’ll have to get a truck.
If people ask we will just say that she ate too much.
And on her stone you will read the inscription of her fate.
“My love for chocolate put me here that is no mistake!”

  1. Sad…giving one’s self up to essentially suicidal behavior is sad and not helpful to anyone else…with no apparent hope of return. A whole lot of hurt is being shut out by that box of chocolates, and cake, and candy.
Thank you, Ron, for having the courage to post something needing to be posted—with that picture—knowing that few would ike it. You’re a good man!

    • Thank YOU and so are you

  2. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
