When tree colors start a-turning

Summer’s wood begins a-burning…

The fairies too,

Change their hue,

One must have an eye for discerning!

Winter fairies oft are white,

The summer will dance in pure light…

But comes the Fall,

Colorful over all

Be careful or you’ll miss the sight.

For those who can see, then see,

Be not afraid needlessly…

These are for your good,

Spirits of the wood—

Look at their bright colors with glee!
