Blood Alcohol


Poesy plus Polemics

corpuscles flying, colliding
in cyclotron circuits
their reds and whites blur
pinking, wildly frothing
with dangerous energy
deaf to electrical pleadings
from neurons the muscles
expand and contract
herky-jerky until they
stop suddenly mashed
windshield glazed
with the bark of a tree
