‘Into The Blue’~by Mary Cecil

‘Into The Blue’

At the edge of my heart
Lies my longing for you
In each restless moment,
Of my aloneness

In the quiet moments
Amidst the frenzy of my existence
When I survey
The vast oceans of my loneliness

You appear, and I can see again,
In the warmth of a soft summer night
When nothing intrudes upon our moment
That you are there, waiting for me

Until then the dream
Cannot be vanquished or lost
But shimmers at the shore
Of my oceans of blue
