Black Hole
Photo from astrophysics.physics.fsu.ed
generations disappear
sucked into empty syringes
or bulbous glass pipes
never heard from again
till their bodies explode
supernovas that flare
for brief tenement moment
meth bethlehem stars
drawing wise men and
coroners witness
to birth of a death
as each starburst
collapses to black in a hole
a great wound
with an unbleeding vacancy
one that can never be filled
but will always be felt
by a world with already
too few of incipient
virtue to manage
the future of men
