SORTING OUR COLORS

Remember
The day our crayons got
mixed up

we were coloring in our
books

two little girls
sorting through their
colors

red, blue,green,yellow.

Today
Once again I sit sorting
our colors

now I sit alone thinking
of you

red, blue, green, yellow
only your colors remain.
