I fear to die~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

I fear to die

Has Thanatophobia in my self grown
Or is it just a fear of the unknown
For I am leaving the skies I have flown
Abandoning all the seeds I have sown

With Pride forgetting this world I don’t own
I have no control of the life I’m born
This body to a soul given as loan
I have no right to complain or mourn

I fear not flying skies I’ve never flown
But I fear leaving the seeds I have sown
What would be of my plants left alone
Would they be exposed to the Sun’s harsh scorn

Thanatophobia in my self has grown
For I have now a fear of the unknown
I shall be leaving the skies I have flown
Abandoning all the seeds I have sown.

* faith and trust will set one free from thanatophobia though.
