‘Another Time,Another Place’~by Mary Cecil

‘Another Time,Another Place’

Another time, another place
What might have been,
Those moments you know
Though fate intervenes

The unspoken affectionate thought
The song that doesn’t sing,
The melody lingering,
The joy it could bring

The all of the other,
Your life in place
Yet still a longing,
To know an embrace

A reverie to cherish
If only to know,
That sweet turmoil,
With nowhere to go

Transported and transfixed
The visions sublime,
If only existing,
In some other time
