according to Nozick
his postulate thought
experiment claims
there is but one man
in all the known world
pluperfect efficient
who can do so much more
with what others possess
than those others
can do for themselves

so then, bringing logic
to theories and urgings
of Bentham and Mill
all that others possess
should be transferred
en masse unto
those ablest hands
of that one special man
for maximum benefit
of utmost utility

sad to say the effect
would annihilate
all of humanity
absurd on its practical feet
absurd on its repugnant face
absurd in its ethical heart
and so, then, absurd
would be any attempt
at attaching morality
to cardinal doctrines
of utilitarians

while Nozick has critics
as all thinkers do
on this salient point
his logic rings true
