GATHERED PEARLS

Pearls
gathered
from the
ocean.
restored
so
beautifully.

strung
on a
necklace.
hang
so
patiently.

soon
became
saddened.
missing
their home
away.

tears
silently
flowing.
nerves
began
to fray.

pearls
gathered
from the
ocean.
memories
of
yesterday.
