BE A LOVE TO YOURSELF~by Rajendra Padhi

I am the creeper in muffled leaves
Wait for sun and rain in window pane,
Though too weak, uncertain in strength
Being ever become smaller I love to rise,
In endless silence and little by little.

I set my eyes to sunbeams cast upon me
And the lovely dew at night on my bosom,
It holds me to live in fervent in all seasons
Eyes look my growth even in dusky eves
In a glimpse they drink up my green hue.

They know I am too tender for their touch
Faithful like God pour in little water in root,
If ever I lived it is for love in human heart
Tickle me in soft palms as if I am their child,

Words are old things where love flows
How it comes in stillness I have here learnt,
Everything is out-talked quietly they sit
Run their little fingers to see how I rise.
