DR. FAUSTUS RENEWS HIS CONTRAT

Devil,
Faustus is invoking you again:

There was a time
when he entered into that contract
with you;

I am sorry, at the last moment,
I broke that contract

I remembered God
I called upon Christ;

and I felt they merely smiled
on my fate;

you conducted me to hell
where I am suffering still;

Now, i have internalised this suffering;
I know
what Gods call heaven too is a
palace of suffering

BEING is SUFFERING
No escape.

Thanks for giving me thrills;
which these poor souls miss.

Here is my hand;
let us renew the contract;

the whole world is hell
heaven is a myth;

devil is a fact;
God a phantasmagoric half truth;
