BEHOLD HER; DO NOT INTERRUPT THE LASS~by Dipankar Sadhukhan

BEHOLD HER; DO NOT INTERRUPT THE LASS

Behold her; do not interrupt the lass.
How fast smiling lines vanished from her face.
Over phone she is talking to someone.
From her face I can read words one by one.

With great joy she received the very call
But from her eyes tears begin to fall.
Dry face and soak’d eyes delineate –
Someting bad or wrong happened with her fate.

Perhaps she loves someone with soul and heart.
Now she has been cheated by her sweetheart
Or somebody, very close to her heart
Shall never come to meet her on this earth.

Whate’er wrong or bad may happen with her
Shall be record’d in her heart for ever.
