I STOPPED TO SEE~by Rajendra Padhi

I STOPPED TO SEE

I stopped to see dew simmering on my face
In random sunlight of the placid morn
It beamed from leaf-spattered trees,
The bus broke down waking in me an eye
Otherwise I would have slept to lose a sight.

My eyes bumped at the blue blushing sky
Growing red little by little on faces of buds
I fizzled out misery finding them in petals,
The busy insects in row looked back at me
The sunlight filled my senses in delight
Reached to me to become ink for words.

Never had I seen such waves of mist
Crashed in shards of light for an event!
When people breathe out in worries
What is stunning and beautiful
Comes without a purpose I always find
so splendid In a moment of broken trust!
