Who will listen to this voice?~by Partha Sarathi Paul

Who will listen to this voice?

Who will listen to this voice?
[1st verse]
O daddy, O mummy, tell me
What day is my holiday?
Weekdays all wear out in school classes.
All days are important even some Saturdays!
[2nd verse]
Sunday is a long day!
It`s not any better.
Daytime is eaten up by the busy coaching center.
Afternoon is too short and evening hops darn faster!
[3rd verse, Repeat]
O daddy, O mummy, tell me
When shall I play my darling guitar?
The sketch on my drawing page calls for some color.
The river is drying fast and it`s missing its murmur!
[4th verse]
I learn moral science in convent strict discipline.
But too stern a situation now shunts my spleen!
I get up pretty early to get ready for the rush!
Doze off on a daily journey in a big, yellow bus!

[5th verse, Repeat]
Exams are devils and semesters are monsters!
They keep roaring and chasing and easily catch us!
Like trapped rats we make some vain try sometimes.
Python routine crushes us and we vainly cry all times!
[6th verse, Repeat]
You ever tell me to wait till I am a big man.
Can a grown- up man be like a small one?
Quite often something pokes on my mind.
Shall I get this age back the same as childlike wild?
[7th verse]
O daddy, O mummy, tell me
What shall I do if the monotone kills me from inside?
Where will you go and find
If I lose in the mazy way and you lose your kid?
[1st verse]
O daddy, O mummy, tell me
What day is my holiday?
Weekdays all wear out in school classes.
All days are important even some Saturdays!
