OUR LOVE~by Anil Kumar Panda

I lay frazzled in your arms
Caressed and kissed your florid palms
We took a vow in the flocculent night
Our lives’ miseries together we would fight

You hugged me and shed beads of tear
Your profound love was as pure and clear
As the call of muezzin in a mosque
And as the glowing star in the serene dusk

Gathering into a bun your flowing hair
Swearing to spoil you with unbound care
I kissed your lips and petals of classic eyes
My ambition ends, where your happiness lies

The squall of envy for our sublime love
May burn us one day, and make us to move
To that realm of divine existence
Where mortals fear to go even by-chance
