THE SKY AND SEA

I look in my little eyes the ocean and the sky
One above infinite, the other immeasurable,
I am between them too small to reach to them
Still I am in quest for knowing greater things
Hidden as limitless and measureless in human life
Unfolding it from dawn till the twilight of my age,
A little joy widens me into a sky limitless
A little sorrow drowns me deeper than the sea,
I move as a traveller in the ever changing world
When they stand changeless of place and sound,
As great they are nothing to achieve more
We are too small to find something greater in life.
