In the longing distance I see,~by Mary Cecil

In the longing distance I see,

In the longing distance I see,
A path that leads from you
Where all we had still lingers,
Amidst the falling dew

Beyond the flowering fields,
Beneath the dreaming sky
Those moments I still long for,
As time goes slowly by.
