OH SO BARE~by Heather Burns


 

 

OH SO BARE

They hover together
embracing

as the frigid wind
tears at the branches

standing oh so bare

searching for a coat
of warmth

an umbrella to carry
tears turn to ice

revealing inner most
secrets

wrapping arms around
each other

forming a shield of
protection.
