My Motivation~by Gilford Luvai

My Motivation

Rain! Rain! All the plants,
All the lives of land and sea
Are depending on you for existence
Yet you’ve dedicated your evening
To derailing my journey home.
As if you’ve nothing else to do.

Just take a look at me rain!
My face the color of a furious harvest
Rain! For the sake of my heart
I must get back to my
home
To expose my curious heart
To the flaring sunbeams
And the beauty in my home.

Those ribbon lips, oh my, oh my!
I want to be by them deliberately
But for you! the pouring rains
I have to wait restlessly
For the next hour with lust
Before I can finally execute
These essential facts of my life.

But that tedious part of my mind
Has eventually developed
Permitting me with the luxury
Of letting you mock my patience.

Oh, Rain! Rain! Rain! Rain! You’re making my combed hair
To face fifteen different directions.
O rain, I’m pounding, I’m excited…
And people are like
“Woah! What’s his motivation?”
My motivation isn’t madness people,
I’m just in love!
