the chore of writing~by Nikitha Hingad

the chore of writing

Picked the words from the garden of dictionary
Tied into a wisp of beautiful poetry

The rhymes and rythms play like spices
Boiled and simmered are the advices

The sounds of words is gift forgotten
Written words are taken granted often

Dusting away the dust of slang words
Choosing the best from the herds

Polished and shined into a form
Poetry not always loving and warm

Seiving the bran from the flour
Killing the message while rhymes take over
Writing can be like any other chore
But it emerges from heart core
