Shards from other times~by Bianca Hazenberg

Shards from other times

a tiny spark ignites the soul-fire
intoxicating color of dawn
where your blossom beckons in clean air
dreams wade through the morning-blue river

footsteps imagine memory along banks
silvershine creeps trembling along my skin
the day screams and your name echoes miles away
bloom wallows along the floodplain

dear hands touch shards from other times
in a mosaic with golden love
like peacocks parading in the flanks of each other’s soul
I taste the juice of apricots on my tongue
