The Search
And in searching would one find
this love is it not perhaps just in mind
when all the past are left behind
would one not find the future blind
the key of heart for naught vainly wind?
Yet the heart shall keep on searching
for one the mind has endlessly yearning
and the spirit shall not tire waiting
persevere, no great one’s suffering
and the gods who threw the dice shall be laughing …
